Recommended Teen Titles

It's Teen Read Week . . . Read Beyond Reality@your Library! Read something out of this world, just for the fun of it.

Pick up a bookmark of this year's Teen Read list. If we don't have what you want, ask a librarian to request it for you, or
go online to our webpage, click "Find a Book" to log in to your account, where you can request a book yourself.
Remember, you'll need your pin.

What are you currently reading? Let me know . . .
I'm currently reading . . . (listening to) "The 39 Clues, Book 1. The Maze of Bones," by Rick Riordan, recommended for the pre-teen crowd--I'm enjoying books that I wish I'd had when I was that age!

American Girl Book Club: It had to happen . . .

. . . we're just so popular, we have to split ourselves in two--two groups, that is!

Currently reading "The Secret in the Old Attic," by Carolyn Keene (Nancy Drew Mysteries series)

Next meeting, Feb. 24, we will split into two groups so everyone can have a chance to be heard.

As of this writing, I have 3 girls who are interested, but I'm not sure if they can commit. So. . . if someone new is interested, please ask them to talk to me first!

See you next Tuesday.

American Girls Rock!

American Girls, the next book up for discussion is "Meet Josefina," on Tues, January 27.

Since we had to close our group to new membership, it's possible that we could start a new group.
If you're interested in being in a small group book discussion, contact me and we'll see what happens!

The group does not have to read only American Girl books; any book could be considered.

We could have a genre group, such as historical fiction, fantasy/science fiction, realistic/humorous, or whatever the group decides.
